Dinner & a Mystery

Munster Education Foundation & Mclean, Mclean, Fitch & Cheetum (for the heirs of Mr. Arthur S. Winfield) invited you to attend A Mystery Dinner & Estate Auction featuring Munster "celebrities". This event was held on Friday, November 3, 2006 at Cloister in the Woods, and included a cash bar, dinner & a mystery, and an antique sale. Tickets were only $45 per person.

You were invited to join us for an evening of good fellowship at Spring Spirits which was held on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. This event featured muisc by the Billie Foster Trio in addition to:

Spring Spirits was held at Cloister in the Woods, Columbia at Park Drive, Munster, Indiana. Tickets were only $45 per person.

Mac Randolph Dedication

On October 20, 2005, Munster Education Foundation hosted a dedication of a memorial in honor of Mac Randolph at Community Park in Munster, Indiana.

Mac Randolph was the director of Title I for the School Town of Munster for over 20 years. He remediated children in reading development. Children loved to go to his tutoring sessions. He supported the Munster Education Foundation since its inception. Mac (and the scent of his cologne) will be sorely missed by all of his colleagues.

Millions for Murder

Dinner and intrigue occurred during Millions for Murder by Jacqueline Verdeyen which was held on Friday, November 11, 2005. Dinner & Mystery featured Munster celebrities including Bud Bernath and Michelle Stewart. This event was held at Cloister in the Woods, Columbia at Park Drive, Munster, Indiana. Tickets were $45 per person with a cash bar.

Spring Spirits 2005

Everyone enjoyed an evening of good fellowship on Friday, May 6, 2005 at Cloister in the Woods, Columbia Avenue at Park Drive in Munster, Indiana . In addition to wine tasting and speciality beer tasting, there were appetizers, raffle, and cash bar along with music by the Billy Foster Trio.

"Schooled in Murder" - November 6, 2004

Do you know who the murderer was? Was it the butler or Mrs. Peacock? The "Schooled in Murder" dinner and mystery was held at Cloister in the Woods, Columbia Avenue at Park Drive, Munster, Indiana. The evening featured Munster "Celebrities" and included dinner and a cash bar. Fun, mystery and mayhem were enjoyed by all who attended and are looking forward to next year's event.

Spring Spirits - May 7, 2004

Reunion for Murder - November 2003
We had lots of fun and intrigue at the Fenwick State University Reunion. We remembered old friends — We renewed old acquaintances — There were lies, secrets and mayhem for everyone! It was held on Sunday, November 16, 2003 at Cloister in the Woods, Columbia Avenue at Park Drive, Munster, Indiana.

We rode in style at the July 4, 2003 Munster Parade with Garfield prominently featured in the rumble seat. Pictured in the photo are Deborah Milne, Deborah's daughter, Martha Sandoval, Jim Hamblin (owner of the vintage car), and Mike McIntyre.


The Foudation dedicates a memorial to Ed Woodrick at Civil War Day.


Civil War Day Dedication- June, 2003

As part of this year's Civil War Day, the Foundation dedicated a memorial to honor Ed Woodrick. A tree was planted at Community Park in Munster, which is the site of the Ed Woodrick Civil War Day activities. Woodrick was a founder and organizer of the annual Civil War Day program (a reenactment of the Civil War) in which all Munster fifth-grade students participate.
