The mission of the Munster Education Foundation is to support innovative educational opportunities in the School Town of Munster through partnerships involving educators, students, parents, businesses and the greater community.

What is the Munster Education Foundation? We're parents, educators, business people, concerned citizens — people just like you — who care about improving our community by making our schools stronger.

The Munster Education Foundation has a distinguished record of grant-making and, since 1993 to the present, has touched every school and every academic discipline in the School Town of Munster. Grant requests have been initiated by teachers, parent groups, student organizations, and governmental groups.

Our Goals

Promote and foster ongoing dialogue and involvement between the School Town of Munster and the entire community.
Expand and nuture partnerships to enhance learning.
Encourage and fund a program of innovative teacher, student and community initiatives to enhance student learning.
Develop financial resources to support the goals of the foundation.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Hello. My name is Deborah Milne and I am the President for the Munster Education Foundation and I have a message for you.

As a parent, I share the same concerns about our children's education as you do. I want my child to have caring teachers with tremendous resources and the initiative to bring innovative learning opportunities to the classroom. But the fact is, in these economic conditions and cut-backs in education dollars, that can be quite a challenge.

What is encouraging to know is that the Munster Education Foundation has been around since 1993, funding programs beyond what school budgets allow. Through fund raising efforts and an established grant process, the teachers in Munster, can apply for dollars to make new ways of learning a reality!

Our Board of Directors consists of parents, educators, business people and concerned citizens just like you who care about improving our community by making our schools stronger.
