The mission of the Munster Education Foundation is to support innovative educational opportunities in the School Town of Munster through partnerships involving educators, students, parents, businesses and the greater community.
What is the Munster Education Foundation? We're parents, educators, business people, concerned citizens — people just like you — who care about improving our community by making our schools stronger.
The Munster Education Foundation has a distinguished record of grant-making and, since 1993 to the present, has touched every school and every academic discipline in the School Town of Munster. Grant requests have been initiated by teachers, parent groups, student organizations, and governmental groups. Grants have been directed toward innovative programs that otherwise would not receive funding through regular school channels.
Annual grants
- Every spring, fifth-grade students from all three elementary schools learn more about our nation's history at Ed Woodrick's Civil War Day.
- In the winter, fourth-grade students from all three Munster elementary schools participate in Indiana's Birthday, learning to do pioneer activities.

How You Can Help
The Foundation raises funds through Memberships, < Special Events, License Plates, and Tributes.
You can help us by becoming a member. It's easy to become a member — just fill out the Member Application and submit it online, and we'll send you an invoice or print the filled-out form and mail it to us along with your check.
